Vietnam does not currently offer visa-free entry for holders of ordinary Chinese passports. According to Vietnam’s immigration regulations, Chinese citizens with regular passports must apply for a visa before entering Vietnam. Visas can be obtained at Vietnamese embassies or consulates in China.

Chinese airline crew members (including crew of third-country airlines operating flights between China and Vietnam) are exempt from visas for up to 30 days, for normal crew rotation or due to force-majeure reasons.
