What is Form NA3?

Form NA3 is the sponsorship application form for foreign relatives entering Vietnam, issued under Circular No. 04/2015/TT-BCA dated January 5, 2015.

This form is exclusively for Vietnamese citizens, foreigners holding temporary or permanent residence cards in Vietnam who wish to sponsor foreign relatives entering Vietnam for family visits. Organizations and agencies sponsoring foreigners should use Form NA2 instead.

Instructions for Completing Form NA3

To complete Form NA3, simply follow these instructions from Tan Van Lang’s experts:

Section I: Fill in the sponsor’s personal information, including:

Full name (in capital letters)

Gender

Date of birth

Original and current nationality

ID card/Citizen ID/Passport/Permanent residence card/Temporary residence card number, along with date and place of issuance

Section III: Fill in the information requesting the Immigration Department:

Entry time and number of entries (single/multiple entries)

Purpose of the foreigner’s entry into Vietnam

Expected temporary residence address in Vietnam

Which Vietnamese representative office to notify, at what address, in which country

Place to receive visa at port of entry (specify port name)

Reason

Sponsor’s signature with full name

In the confirmation section:

If the sponsor is a Vietnamese citizen or a foreigner with a permanent residence card, the Head of the Ward/Commune Police will confirm.

If the sponsor is a foreigner with a temporary residence card in Vietnam, the head of the organization or agency inviting/sponsoring this foreigner will confirm the information.

Conditions for Sponsoring Foreign Relatives

Vietnamese citizens permanently residing in the country can sponsor grandparents, parents-in-law; spouse, children, and biological siblings who are foreigners to visit Vietnam.

Foreigners with permanent residence cards can sponsor grandparents, parents, spouse, and children to visit Vietnam.

Foreigners with temporary residence cards can sponsor grandparents, parents, spouse, and children to visit Vietnam; sponsor spouse and children under 18 to stay in Vietnam for the duration of the temporary residence card if approved by the inviting/sponsoring organization or agency.

Process for Sponsoring Foreign Relatives to Enter Vietnam

To sponsor foreign relatives entering Vietnam, sponsors need to follow these steps:

Step 1: Complete all information in Form NA3 according to the instructions and receive your electronic application code.

Step 2: Print Form NA3 and obtain confirmation from the competent authority.
